20 July 2011 | The Centre for Volunteering
Does your not-for-profit organisation demonstrate excellence in volunteer management?
If you answered yes, nominate it for the 2011 NSW Excellence in NFP Volunteer Management.
Made possible by Citizenship and Communities Minister Victor Dominello, who pledged an additional $12,000 in State Government funding for this award, this special award marks the 10th anniversary of the United Nation's International Year of the Volunteer (IYV+10).
"In addition to existing categories, this year there is a one-off category for the IYV+10 Award for Volunteer Management. This award will help highlight a sometimes under-acknowledged, but vitally important aspect of volunteering," said Minister Victor Dominello.

- Nominee organisations must be a legitimate not-for-profit organisation in NSW.
- Nominee organisations must comply with the National Standards for Involving Volunteers in Not-For-Profit Organisations
- Nominee organisations must have current Volunteers Workers Personal Accident Insurance and Public Liability Insurance.
- Nominee organisations must have operated within the NSW community during the past 12 months.
- Nominee organisations must operate with volunteers.
